Our design work consisted of a full restaurant fit-out including architectural and interior design work. The 1,427 SF restaurant is fitted into the first floor of a triangular shaped building where 7th Street and Passyunk Avenue cross, and includes space for both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior material and color schemes evoke vibrant yet casual vibes with its hanging plants and tropical hues. Murals also feature prominently in the overall design, such as the rising sun and interior paint job by Austin artist Kevin Muñoz. Outside, local Philly artist Emily White's exterior mural has nostalgic art which embodies the restaurant’s uplifting atmopshere. Hidden in the clouds is a dutch door added to accommodate takeout orders and streetside ordering.
