Client Rutgers University
Location New Brunswick, NJ
Scope 15,000 SF

Located on the Cook Douglass Campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ, Willets Hall is part of the overall Jameson residence quadrangle housing students enrolled at the Douglass Residential College.

The building formerly housed a student health clinic to serve residents of the College. The relocation of the clinic to a new purpose-built facility provided an opportunity for additional student residences on the campus and a student activity center focused specifically on the needs of the resident population.

The upper floors of the building will be converted to twenty-three new student residences. The ground floor is designed to house new spaces for group and quiet study, art and general purpose classrooms, and miscellaneous support spaces including bathrooms, laundry and a printing center. All of these amenities will be dedicated to the use of residents of the Douglass Residential College.
