Constructed in 1910, The Carriage House is a historic three-building apartment complex in Philadelphia’s Powelton Village.

CosciaMoos was tasked with updating and expanding the property—adding new residential units and amenity spaces while navigating the complexities of exterior historic approvals and phased construction to maintain residents in place. The reimagined interior spaces transform the buildings into a contemporary sanctuary, balancing modern minimalism with timeless luxury. Warm whites, moody olives and soft blues set a refined backdrop, accented by antique brass and vibrant furnishings. Rich materials such as Calacatta marble, textured gold wallcoverings, and glowing globe sconces elevate the experience, while clean and open layouts provide a sense of cohesion. This renovation offers residents a modern living environment within a preserved historic setting.
