Located at Temple Health’s new Women and Families campus in Philadelphia, this O.R. was designed to be a calming environment through the use of warm neutrals and soothing pops of color. The generous proportions of the O.R. allow for clinical flexibility; duplication of medical gases and clinical support booms keep equipment off of the floor, supporting a wide array of procedures to be performed in the room.
Careful placement of the control room, nursing documentation area, and ceiling-hung monitors allow clinicians clear sightlines to the patient at all times. The project features a modular laminar diffuser array with integrated lighting which reduced construction time during installation and also provides even, diffuse lighting over the surgical table.
