The Somerset County Improvement Authority has announced that CosciaMoos’ client Natirar has received funding through New Jersey’s Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program, to help the luxury hotel and resort minimize its environmental impact. The $26 million bond issue is the first ever under the new C-PACE program, which is designed to help businesses and landlords embrace renewable energy, climate resiliency technology, and other clean energy measures that improve our communities and save money.

The Resort at Natirar is a luxury hotel and spa project within the pre-existing historic Natirar estate. The 70,000-square-foot hotel will consist of 66 rooms along with a fitness center, a full-service spa, swimming pool, tennis courts, and restaurant.

Natirar will use the funding on a number of green upgrades, including green roofing, renewable energy projects, specialized lighting systems, e-glass windows, and highly efficient HVAC systems in all buildings.
