Responsibilities:
- Coordinate consultants and architectural staff to execute project design requirements and meet project milestones on multiple projects simultaneously
- Prepare, review and coordinate project documentation prior to issue, including verifying that documents conform to QA/QC and standards, best practice, and quality expectations
- Lead code analysis and confirm code and zoning requirements for the project are met
- Maintain open communication with client and provide guidance throughout the project
- Prepare client presentations and present design concepts and drawings
- Perform product research; assist project designers with materials and systems evaluation
- Oversee appropriate application of best practices and products and materials available on the market
- Maintain awareness of risk management for potential project issues and involves PIC/PM if needed
- Attend on-site visits, field reviews and project meetings and document as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree
- 8+ years of experience preferred
- Architectural registration required
- A demonstrated career focus on healthcare project types
- Thorough understanding of healthcare related codes and regulations, including an understanding of the permitting process in PA, NJ and DE
- Laboratory planning experience is appreciated, but not required
- Strong technical knowledge to guide design and documentation for the above project types.
- Ability to work independently with clients and consultants.
- Strong communication skills, both graphic and written.
- Mindfulness toward maintaining client relationships through meeting deadlines and maintaining open communication.
- Strong documentation skills using Revit
