Designed with multi-faceted panels throughout the facade, the building incorporates large expanses of glass light shelves designed to maximize natural light to the interior, while using sunshade devices to control daylight in sensitive areas. The exterior is illuminated by a combination of vertical and horizontal lights and the interior spaces will have 10-foot ceilings providing an open and expansive feel. Energy efficiency is a core tenet of the design, and the project is being built to both LEED Gold and WELL certification standards. This state-of-the-art facility will also allow for flexibility and a variety of configurations for both administration and research spaces.
