Built on the site of a vacant hospital parking lot, 1600 West Girard Avenue fills a hole in the neighborhood and adds to the growing development in the area.

The 7-story, 192-unit mixed-use development connects the building to its existing neighbor on the same site with a new central courtyard.

In response to the COVID pandemic, the building is designed to give a majority of units either full or Juliet balconies. Additionally, extra space within the units was intended to accommodate a future working nook.


A landscaped rooftop sky lounge will provide residents sweeping views to the Art Museum and Center City.


Carefully considered landscape design in the ground level courtyard will strengthen the pedestrian circulation, while softening the impact of vehicular circulation to the parking entry.
