Poplar Multi-Family is a new mixed-use development complex featuring two buildings along Poplar Street, one of them covering most of a city block. The pair of residential high-rises, to be built adjacent to the Regional Rail line, feature residential parking, 6,000 square feet of retail space along Poplar Street and ten residential floors totaling 388 units. The 12,000 square foot roof deck will provide skyline views of the city. Glass sky-bridges connect the northern and southern portions of one building, adding a dramatic architectural moment above an open courtyard space below. The building’s exterior features rich, differentiated materials, such as brick and porcelain tile, which help break down the massing and add visual interest. The Poplar Multi-Family complex will be a prominent contemporary addition to the Northern Liberties neighborhood.
