This project converted a construction management office into an incubator space for medical technology and biotechnology companies seeking short term leases for early stages of growth. Housing almost twenty different tenants ranging in size from a shared workstation and a laptop to larger sections divided by movable partitions, this space was designed to foster collaboration and facilitate the use of shared common areas and infrastructure. In addition to the basic components of shared reception, conference rooms and break areas, the project provides a shared clean room, fume hoods and other laboratory equipment.
The new space provides for collaboration, private meetings, individual offices, R&D and fabrication of prototypes. This space serves as an innovation hub, supporting product development through access to investors, management expertise, infrastructure support and R&D resources.
