Professional Engagement

Design is a collaborative profession, and that doesn’t stop at the office door. We encourage our designers to get engage with professional and community organizations in our area, because we know the value of building networks, learning from peers, and developing leadership skills. In organizations large and small, our designers are board members and active participants.

We are proud of the breadth of organizations our employees are involved with, and the work they do with them. A number of our employees are members of ULI Philadelphia, leading product councils, volunteering with the Urban Plan Program, or serving as Etkins Scholars or members of the Young Professionals Group. Other employees work with the Development Workshop and the Central Philadelphia Development Corporation, promoting intelligent and robust growth in Philadelphia. Others are members of PWC, NAIOP, and CREW, promoting opportunities for women and minorities in the profession.

Our employees also work with organizations such as Tiny WPA, Fleischer Art Memorial, Mighty Writers, and PAWS that focus on service or culture. Whatever their interests, we work with our employees to find opportunities to network or volunteer that spark their interest and passion, both architecturally and culturally.
